Tribes

Project: Create a set of costumes that can be related as a tribe that displays some sense of social purpose.

Information: This tribe will take you into another land, the world of Sugar Rush from the movie Wreck-It-Ralph. The purpose is to distract you from the harsh realities of life while celebrating the differences we all have. In this concept, the actors will be presented to the general public through a parade with a float. Our main protagonist, Vanalleope, will be riding the float with special glitching effects. The performers on the ground are to represent the vast, candy-filled terrain of Sugar Rush and her fellow racers that are celebrating her “pixlexia” that has saved the land of Sugar Rush. The celebration confetti that is placed throughout the costumes represents their celebration along with the bright vivid colors.
