Hide the Box

Project: The “Hide the Box” project is to create a box that will be placed in a real world setting and painted with acrylics – with the goal of making the box visually disappear. The skills required for this project are not only based on perception but also a great understanding of color. As variation of the same color is needed for each side due to lighting, which can drastically affect the same color.

Information: Due to past experiences, Michael requested to take this project to the next level and challenge himself. Instead of painting an object that had 3 angular sides, he chose a rounded object. Because of his interest in costuming, he picked a high heel shoe. The background is a concept design from the movie Frozen.
